Rotarians Play it Forward Concert, APRIL 10, 2010

A Collaborative Rotary Fundraiser for the Rotary Foundation

WHO: Area Rotarians to Jam together April 10 at a Play it Forward Concert to Benefit the Rotary Foundation. The concert is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Tickets are $25. Entertainment, food and drinks included. Sponsorships available at $500 and $1000.

WHAT: Fundraiser for The Rotary Foundation which is  a not-for-profit corporation supported solely by voluntary contributions from Rotarians and friends of the Foundation who share its vision of a better world.

WHERE: PLAY IT FORWARD CONCERT will be held at  Stage Front Presentation Systems’ warehouse located at  6 Southern Oaks Drive off of Chatham Parkway.

WHEN: April 10, 2010 from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm

  1. Marjorie: Thanks for getting the blog started. This event will be a lot of fun. We’ve got some great players lined up for the rhythm section. Now we just need a few talented Rotarians to each front a song or two. We need singers (lead and backup) and are glad to have accomplished guitarists, keyboardists, horn players, etc. sit in. With two sets (jazz and classic rock), we should be able to provide backup for standards, jazz tunes, pop and country stuff. If you have performed on stage before and want to help out, just give us a song title, key and arrangement reference (MP3, iTune, album track, youtube, etc.), so we can get the back-up band prepped.
